wheel swapping
looking to get rid of my turbine wheels but would really love to just trade them for some stock 16 inch wheels for an early 70's 3/4 ton truck. My question is, will all 8 lug wheels fit on my '71 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive truck?

I believe the bolt pattern is the same between chevy,gmc,ford,and dodge and pretty sure the center hole is the same as well might want to keep an eye on the backspacing though. i'm sure someone else will chime in if i'm wrong. worse case go to the junkyard with a tape measure.

They'll fit until you get to the 99 + fords. They had a "better idea".

if you plan on doing heavy loads, you'll want chevy wheels. The center hole is supposed to carry the weight, the lugs simply clamp the wheel on.
