I think animals like this like to commit suicide.

I've got a turtle that roams the back yard, and everytime I see him by the pool I pull back to the grass or under a tree or something.

But like 20 minutes later he's back there sitting by the pool looking in. My dad told me that he's probably trying to scoop a fly that maybe by the pool or trying to get water.

But I think he wants to go in, and end his turtley life. Maybe he dreamed of become a Mutant Turtle but it didn't happen on earth.........WTF am I talking about, i'm starting to sound like Eric. :p

Sorry, to sound like an idiot but how does this shifter work? Do you have to cut the floor and etc.? Just wondering because it sounds cool!

I don't know the details on the installation of one. But it is cable operated. And they say you can mount it anywhere you want to.

So i'm thinking all you would have to do is drill a hole for the cable to go to the trans.

Found this in a blurb on another forum:
"It is not a difficult change to make. Get a copy of Summit or Jegg's catalogl. They sell floor shifters in several different flavors. You will just have to cut a hole in our trans. tunnel and mount the shifter. You will remove the linkage to your column at the bottom of the column. This will be obvious when you look at the floor shifter installation. Then you can pull your steering wheel off and pull the first section of the hub off. You can remove the entire shift lever and will be left with a hole. It won't disturb the steering column lock. You can then fill the hole with some bondo or and repaint the hub. It will look like it never had one or you can look in the junk yards for a hub with no hole. "

This was for a camaro but I think it's just the same. Very basic installation. Hope this helps.

I had to help my friend clean out his neighbors pool once and there was like 13 frogs in it. Nothing smells more than when you pull dead frogs from a pool.

Maybe I should mount it on the ceiling. That would be cool looking imo. Make me feal like I'm in a big plane or something. Guess my arm would get tired after awhile though. It would be cool if I could have a shifter that looked like one of those old WW2 bomber throttle controls.

Only you dont need to remove the steering wheel to pull the shifter arm off. Its just a pin holdin it in.

I am really thinking about this mod also...will have to have a custom console mad anyhow when I get buckets...I may have to go with a new shifter too huh? hehe
