front clip question
I know how to tell 67-68 from the 69-70 and the 71-72, but I haven't figured out how to tell the 67 from the 68 /69 from the 70 / 71 from the 72. Isn't there something different on the front clips?

67 has no marker lights in the fenders,I believe 69/70 had the turn signals in the middle of the grill,and 71/72 had the turn signals in the bumpers

I know the '67 didnt have any sidemarkers, not sure about the '69/'70 difference...maybe the grill insert was different, and the '72 has the mirror mounted on the windshield as opposed to the cab interior.

Ok like they said on 67/68. 69 and 70 each has its own inner grill, not sure which but it could easily be changed. On a 71-72 the 71 had a black painted ring originally around the alluminum grill shell where 72 the only black was around the headlights, but then again easily changed. Hope this helps.

in 70 i think they added 12 horizontal bars to the inner grille and like aaron said the 71 had the black stripe all the way around on the outer grille the 72 did not although anyone can glue the mirror to the windshield you can still tell by the doors unless they have been changed they're are a lot of little differences in all years of these trucks if you look into it hard enough
