flowmaster exhaust
Yea i screwed up i think, i have had flowmaster (asked for 30 series think they gave me 40 series) mufflers for about 2 year and had the 2" exhaust run out from the original opening. We'll im 18 and wanted to make it louder so i cut the pipe off about a foot after the muffler and it sounds like a hunk of junk now, it sounded so much better before. I know i need some tube for echo, anyone know how much, and can i just add 2.5" piping to go straight out the back? i didnt know if having 2" before the muffler and 2.5" would make it sound like having 2.5" all the way, since ive heard 2.5" sounds the best. Any help is appreciated!

flowmaster 40's are the loudest of all flowmasters.if i were u i'd get headers and 2.5 inch pipe out the back.if u want it really loud just put let the mufflers empty in front of the rear

I run 40 series with 3 inch in and out with about 5 feet of tube on the exit side. They turn out right in front of the rear tires. They sound great. Loud, but great.
