Re: Should I Trade / Or Not

If the truck was a 67-72 Cheyenne/CST, maybe. Not for a 79. Plus with the values of 60's muscle cars, it would be a mistake. Shoot, if you do the car right as a nice clone you could probably get over 20k for a frame off. If you just do it up non frame up, just nice and clean it will still fetch over15k. A friend of mine just picked up a 67 Chevelle for 14k, and it needs some work. You'll never get that for that truck.

Re: Should I Trade / Or Not

The answer is still NO! Sit on the car and squirrel away money. Do the interior first, they cost the most money, and its work that 99 of us cant do ourselves. If you have the space, time and inclination, do like I do. Buy and resell things. I make GOOD money at times. Rule #1. Never pay for your toys with your own money. Rule #2, Buy and sell things, use the profit to pay for your toys. Who cares about chrome? repaint the car with some more primer, strap some lawn chairs to some 2x4's and run it!

Hell, trade or sell your truck to fund the Chevelle if you get that despeate.
