72 window crank help

What all do I need to change to get my stock '72 door panels to fit? a PO swapped '71 or older cut down truck doors. The shafts that the window crank and door handle go on seem too short. Do I just replace the shafts, or is it more involved? Thanks in advance.

IIRC only '72 had longer crankhandle shafts, so if you get the right window regulator you should be good to go.
The door panels on a '72 stick out further, thus the need for longer stems.
