It will work in the rear, but not in the front.

Ok, let me rephrase that. Yes they will fit. They are not going to fit without causing rubbing issues as 72dually asked. A 275/45/20 is 29.74" tall. If you bag a truck I will assume you want to be able to go as low as possible and still drive it. a tire that is almost 30" tall will not allow that.

pkj- You may have a 32" tall tire on the front of your truck but that is certainly not the optimal tire for a bagged truck.

72dually- If you want a wide tire with a decent sidewall look at a 245/40/20 or 255/40/20. That's a 28" tire and is about as tall as you want.

Re: Will 275/45/20's fit under a bagged truck??

i think i understand the question and answere better now. the 275-55-20 i use measures 31 inchs tall. i have never cared for how the american vehicle wheel well was designed in relation to the tire diameter. that is why i chose the tall 20. with baggs aired out, the top of my fender lip sits 1 inch below top of tire. the fender well is filled with rubber front to back and i like that look. at this point i have no rubbing issues. i will cut 1 or 2 inchs off my cups and add 2 1/2 inch drop spinels so i can maintain this hieght with bags set for drive hieght. i will also have to change my backspace a little. when i do this the tires will hit the top of the inner fenders when i am aired out. i will work with the bump stops. you are right the truck wont sit as low as some like. but i think the balance will be nice. its just a matter of taste. i dont care for small diameter tires in big wheel wells. the truck will sit low in relation to the tire not the ground. all and all at ride hiegt the front will be about 5 inchs lower than stock. sorry if i am hogging this thread. just wanted to clarify why i answered with a question. thanks, pkj
