I need to redo the rearend (12 bolt) (my christmas present to me)
any recommendations on limited slip configurations and where to buy for the best pricing would be appreciated. I'm not lookin to mud bog or rock climb just
lift it 3 or 4 inches and add acrate motor down the road.

For an occasional off-roader, I'd consider doing Detroit TruTracs in both ends. I am very happy with 4.10 gears and 35" tires with 4" lift. I have a factory Eaton LSD in the back of mine, and I have broken a factory Eaton as well as factory 12 bolt Gov-Loks. Wheel hop took out the Eaton, nothing wrong with them!

I have bought from Drivetrain Warehouse which is now part of 4 Wheel Parts, Randy's RIng & Pinion, Tom's Differentials and Reider Racing and was happy with service from all. Tom's always had best price on Eaton diffs in the past if that is how you go. I think all of the above vendors sell Eaton now.

Can't beat a TruTrac for a front axle, and lots of road racers love 'em for the rear. No clutches to wear out! Stay away from the Detroit Locker in your short wheelbase if you ever plan to trailer or put lots of highway miles on it, JMO.
