patch panel or new fender?

Well, as I dig deeper I find more problem areas. I don't think this is too bad, and I'll probably just get a patch panel from Ed at Mothertruckers, but I can't believe the garbage work some ppl do. The piece of metal is the patch panel that was behind the damage area, they just tacked it in and then bondo'd the hell out of it. I pulled the fender emblem and then shaved it up (the right way). Things are sloooowly moving along.


Here's a shot of the front clip almost totally off. I'm waiting to drain the rad and pull the grill/core support off until last minute. It's still running now so I'm able to move it around if I need to. just have to put my new steering box back in.

I can fully understand the frustration there are some crappy body shops out there but then again there are some wonderful places,
Maybe it was just the PO's first attempt and they had no clue how to do this job properly
