What do you suppose a guy could get out of a NOS 72 Chevy woodgrain tailgate plaque? I am trying to decide if I should sell mine to fund some other parts I need to help the project along.

Is it like a applique/decal? You might get a good price for it on sleazebay. People are silly when it comes to buying rare NOS stuff and will shell out some big cash.

It is the complete wide aluminum moulding with the woodgrain decal and letters. In the wrapper.

MT The problem is the're readily available aftermarket , and quite good , in the $150 range . Back in the day you could have got a lot for NOS , we were paying $250 for rebuilt used ones . Ebay might work , although everything i have sold recently have been down on the $$$$ . Probably that time of the year . Just my .02 .

LMC has them listed for 179.95. Comes with attaching screws. Another board member has one also, am waiting to get pics from his, but if you can think of a decent price shoot me a PM. Maybe we can work something out. Have a bunch of 67/68 stuff and some 69-72 odds and ends.

And 409 Biscayne is Right on the Money when he said that since they are readily available in the aftermarket the price for a NOS one isn't that High

however it's supply and demand + actually finding someone willing to pay.

i would guess $200-250 range. i would pay more for original personally--but thats me. on ebay it might get stupid if you get two people wanting it badly- like the NOS 205 shifter knob last week that went for 140.00.
