Big Block Pulley

I broke the hub pulley on my 454 and replaced it with an aluminum one. However, all I could find was a 3 grove pulley and the old one was 2 groove. What is the 3rd (outside grove) for? I'd like to mill it off.

Thanks,
Whit

Re: Big Block Pulley

I was hoping it just ran the smog pump but I guess not. I plan on putting in AC so I better keep it as is.

Thanks,
Whit
