Anyone know where i can get a new clutch master cylinder push rod. For a 87 GMC 2500 with a 350. The dealership said its discontinued. Part # 15537765.
Mines not broke yet...but real sloppy. Snow plow season is here and i want a spare.

I just checked with http://WWW.GMPARTSDIRECT.COMand they have it for $35.55 didn't say anything about it being discontinued.

Plug that P/N in the search block on the upper L/H corner and hit GO!

Just got a email from gmpartsdirect.....my order was cancelled....part is no longer available. Discontinued.
I guess i'll either have to find one at the junkyard or fabricate one.

I cut one to length from a push rod for my 85... working like a champ.

what part is sloppy? The eye end would last forever if modded to a heim joint style.
I thought the rod came with a new master cyl?

I havent had it apart yet, but the last time i took one apart the eye end was worn out.
When i looked up under the dash on this truck, it looked like the same situation.
I don't think there is enough room for a heim joint, but that would be the way to go if there is. I'll look into that!

I went to 4 different junkyards over the holidays and none of them had a hydrolic clutch. If they were a stick, they had a z bar.
How many years was the hydrolic clutch used??? It dosent seem to be real common.

it isn' t real common. 85-87 trucks, 85-91 subs, blazers and crews.
Only problem, most trucks and such of this era had automatics. Good luck finding it, I am still on the hunt for a pedal set for these trucks for my conversion.

i might be wrong,but i think the last wagner clutch master i bought came with the push rod
