I am looking for some Nerf bars for my 72 Blazer. Any one know of a web site for them?

Thanks Pyro 72k5

Re: Nerf Bars

By nerf bars, do you mean step tubes?

You're probably going to have to fab/modify some for another application.

Re: Nerf Bars

I saw a nice looking chrome set on blazer from ebay. I email him and he told me the year ford they were from. I didn't save the email because I wasn't at the stage. Ford in one body style made a ton of short fleet 4x4 I think thats it but not sure. Sorry for the rambling but there is a current crossover set that will fit and look good.

Re: Nerf Bars

I believe I read about others using something from a ford too. You will probably still need to fab some mounting points. The Rocker boxes are in the way making mounting difficult.

Some pics would be great. I was sure I would have to fab mounting points. I would just like to get something that will fit. What year ford will work?

Re: Nerf Bars

Mounting them to the frame is the only way to go, if/when you find some.
Don't get the kind that mount to the sheet metal.

I pulled these off a truck awhile back.

Re: Nerf Bars

i have the 4 foot versions on my blazer. It looks like they built mounts that hang off the rubber body mounts under the tub. Very clean and rigid but unfortunatly i have no idea what the P.O. got them from.

heres a pic of the blazer, i can get you pics of the bars and mounts by tomorrow sometime if you like. good luck.
