brakes?

I just got my new master cylinder put on(the old one was bleading down pretty bad) and every thing works great....the problem is now I can hardly touch the brakes and one or both of the back tires lock up...is there any way to ease the brake power on the rear wheels or any other way to fix this problem short of alway carring around 1000 pounds of junk in the bed?

sounds like either front shoes are not adjusted out towards druims as far as rear oens are, or front lines need bled soem more, or theres gear oil leaking past wheels seals in the rear axle and getting on shoe material

is a 68 C20 right ?
