Let's see your tailights!
I am just wondering if there are any cool alternatives to stock 73-87 tailights out there. Not caddy tailights, just stock replacements.
Mine are in pretty bad shape; I will more then likely just buy the OEM replacements, but thought I would check if there are any altezza, smoked or clear style assemblies I like. Thanks!

Re: Let's see your tailights!
Hey, I just saw your truck in the 89-91 grille conversion write up you did; I thought the truck looked familiar, I just didn't recognize it at first since you have it all in primer now.
Thanks for doing that write up. I will be doing the conversion within the next few weeks myself. I think you are probably right about the tails.

I prefer the stock look as well... they are clean looking.. Here are a set I made up one time. Not the best pic of them. At night you could still see the light through the brown paint the bowtie was just a bit brighter.. was pretty cool...

SOme things are just better left alone. New lenses and chrome trim looks good. Some times less is more! Some of the newer trucks with "Euro" lenses look out of place.

NICE REAR ENDS guys!
84slopwaggin, that is an amazing job on that rollpan and ZR1 tails. It takes a lot of work to make that setup look 'right' and I would say that you did it.

Re: Let's see your tailights!
GTS light covers look pretty decent on a black truck. You have to grind the lip off the original lenses to get a good tight fit. Here is rear of my brother's 78 GMC with a set.
