Grille Clean up - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anyone ever used a product like Tarn-X to clean their grille? I tried steel wool on mine and cant get the look I want and I would rather not paint it. How shiny should it get? Mine has almost a brushed aluminum look to it, but I can see spots where it is much shinier. Pic of what it should look like would be nice.....Thanks.

I've used nevr-dull with pretty good results.
