Talking Beater-Build-Out with the Old and In with the new!

Wow! I never thought I’d get to this weekend; and on New Years no less! My poor old, tired C-10 has been running on a borrowed 350 for about 12 years now, so her 2006 Christmas present was indeed well earned. I bought a core 327 large journal from Frank (Pick-m-up) last spring and through many paychecks the package is finally nearing completion. The old engine was pulled today, parts swapped and the new engine will be in tomorrow following some major wiring work. Planning on firing her New Years day. I’ll post more pics tomorrow as the install continues. P.S: Thanks for a great core Frank! ET

Yesterday...the 327 is bolted in now. Dizzy, carb in. Power steering will be hooked up today, additional wiring repairs made, slap the remaining stuff in and , Fire her up. What a great way to start a New Year! Somewhere in my future is at least 14 days of shop clean-up.
