anybdoy know what your supposed to torque the lower ball joint to one a '71 c-10. couldn't find it in the shop manual. thanks. chris.

If it's any help,the origional chevy shop manual for1969 c10 says lower ball joint torque is 120 ft-lbs. Would imagine '71 is the same.
Haynes 1967-1987 says 90 ft.lbs.( for all 1/2 tons in those years). So take your pick,personally I like the GMC book and would go with 120.

My Haynes said 90, but it's a castle nut, so it's not like it will back off or anything.
