Went car crazy again.......

Just wanted to share a story with you all...........
I turned 56 this year..........My life long goal, and I do mean life long....at least since the age of 12 when I started working,.......I had a dream to retire at 55 and buy a corvette at 55..........I missed both those goals.......but went car crazy the past two years.........buying a 03 Silverado, 06 camper, 72 corvette (finally), 69 camaro, a 72 truck, and a one owner 84 Silverado.......and that doesn't count what I already had....and all the while with my wife saying you've got to sell something........10 vehicles is too many...........(what does she know...LOL).........could this be the reason I have to keep working..........
Today I met an older gentleman who had the cleanest collection I have ever seen and I mean right down to the floor you could eat off of....... I spent over 2 very enjoyable hours with him and at the end of the conversation and inspection of all his toys we talked about an 04 corvette he has that he now wants to sell............it looked like it had never been off the a dealers floor and the price was right..........I again went car crazy.......it was my dream (well one of them) .... My wife is a good girl and I agree that I should sell something before I get something else.......so...........today I put my 84 Silverado, 03 Silverado, 06 camper and 72 corvette up for sale. .........Man I love this life and being crazy over cars......

COOL! it will free up alot of time too! keeping all those other vehicles running/clean is alot of work! When do we get to see the BadA$$ Vette?

I totally agree.........this guy had his shop and vehicles to a point that he only had to shine them other than a 72 truck he was working on. It made me feel that my life could be so much simpler if I dumped a lot of stuff.
I have to sell my stuff before I get the bad vette but I will post a pic if I get it. I have already had two interest in more info on the 72 vette I have and one interested in the camper...........they are all priced to sell...........I want this car.........

I'm going to do the same thing, and unload all my projects this year. My buddy in california has an all original #'s 69 Trans Am that I've always wanted, and he's not as enthusiastic about it anymore. The car has been out of sight for 20yrs. If I can help it, I'll own it soon.

I have actually decided to keep the 72 vette and sell the other stuff.........bad thing is I like them all.

Actually, I have not decided totally on not selling the vette..........I guess it is the only one I really don't want to take a beating on and if I can sell the other stuff I will have what I need.
