sway bars
I've ordered front and rear sway bars from Brothers Truck. They will be here sometime after January 20th. Both bars and hardware for $260. Thought that was a great deal. I took advantage of the 10% off in Dec.
With the truck still at the stock height, will I gain much handling? I'm sure it won't corner like my mustang with full supension mods, but it's got to get better. There are no sway bars on the truck now. I feel like I have to crawl in corners. Can I get away with lowering springs next? On a budget. |

Re: sway bars
I just got a 1 1/4 front bar from the scrap yard off a 1980 3/4 ton chevy pickup. I haven't installed it yet but from what I read in the FAQ it should help a ton!

Re: sway bars
Thanks Kyull67!
Still trying to understand the older trucks. Mostly into Mustangs until recently, but always wanted a classic truck. Love having a truck. I'm guessing that's your ride? Nice. |
