72 with Corvette Rally's, anyone have a pic?

Trying to decide on which wheels to get for my new project. Leaning towards old school slots but a friend has a set of Corvette Rally's I can probably get cheap.

I have a set on my project 72 2wd Blazer. I have 31x10.50 tires mounted on them. They are low maintainance wheels. I have the gray painted ralleys. I guy I work with bought the chrome one's and they always have surface rust on them.

Dion there used to be a sticky at the top of the thread list titled "wheel and tire fitment list" I think. It appears it has been deleted or moved elsewhere. It was full of pics and info on our trucks and wheel/tire sizes, types, etc. It may still be here somewhere. Try this.

I have Wheel Vintique 15x8 Ralleys on my '72 (pickup Pictures at the Cardomain site in my .sig.

FYI, the bolt pattern is different, so regular 'vette Ralleys won't fit...

Thanks for the info guys! Bummer on the Vette Ralleys though, those would look pretty sharp.

Dion, you can still run a Vette "style" wheel. You just cannot use the wheel straight off the vette. Wheel Vintique, Stockton Wheel and a couple of others off the Vette style Rally in a variety of sizes to suit your needs. Available in painted or chrome. I do not know how the prices run.

Thanks Boog. I found a set of 70's slotted mags today for $70 so I'm going to put those on and see how I like it.

The Wheel Vintique wheels are virtually identical; the stock trim rings won't fit, but the stock 'vette center caps did.

Re: 72 with Corvette Rally's, anyone have a pic?

Here's mine. I have 15 x 8's up front and 15 x 10 out back, I think they were like $60 ea from a local So Cal guy. They are 5x5 lug and 5x?. I think they are 4.5 backspacing front and rear. Not on the truck yet, but will be soon. I also got the Disk Brake caps for them.

Mike

Re: 72 with Corvette Rally's, anyone have a pic?

revive an old thread... it's not clear to me if i could use the older vette style ones with center caps, on my 6 lug 4wd. is there a cab that would fit and allow that front selector hub through?
