how hard?
how hard it it to remove a bed from one of our trucks? i was looking to go remove one from a truck in the junkyard what do i need to do it?

There should be just 8 bolts that hold it down through the bed floor and then the wiring.

You'll also need at least 3 other friends or a forklift. These beds aren't light...

make darn sure you take a really good rust penatraing oil..i used pb blaster or something like that a few months ago..almost all of the bolts came off by hand,,only 2 broke off..the stuff im talking about stinks,,but darn it sure worls good...the can is white with all different color writing on it..cost alot more than wd40,,but id is worth the price..or try the gibbs stuff they are talking about on the boards...havent used it myself but will be getting some soon to try out..im getting older i guess,,and realize sometimes you need to spend more money to get something to make things easyier

When I removed the bed (wood floor), I ended up twisting bolts off, grinding a few off. Bolts on the inside of the bed don't give you much to get ahold of should they start to turn all the way through. I'd take a chissel, etc.

A cordless saws-all works really good on those frozen bolts too. I got lucky and only had to cut one of mine, and that was after 24 hours with penetrating oil. Other than that, it was real easy. Once I called three neighbors over to remove it.
