Re: Been Away for awhile...

Welcome back breeh. There was a rig that looked just like yours for sale on Craiglist a while back. I was wondering if it was yours. I'm guessing it wasn't.

The local group hasn't gotten together in a long time. Mike's board disolved. I think he sold his truck too. GR8SCOTT is selling his truck too, but I haven't heard from him in a long time either (saw his truck on craigslist the other day.) I think it would be great if all the puget sound area guys got together this summer.

No, it wasn't my rig. I am too attached to it still to let it go!

Sorry to hear that the group fizzled out. I guess it is just us hardcore guys left. We should get together again this year. If not the Monroe swap meet then maybe at the Triple X?

Re: Been Away for awhile...

Brent...glad to see you back and that you finished your motor...SWEEEEEET! I thought the 'maro was going to be a drag car...silly me. You missed the meeting at Livrat's on Sunday. Four of us showed up to save some parts from the recycling bin...and drool over some of his projects...LOL! Next meeting is Feb 10-11 at the 33rd Annual Corvette & High Performance Swap Meet at the Puyallup Fairgrounds!

UPDATE: I sold the buckets, still have the tow bar, lost the 4-bolt in a trade to elkhunter for my first Longhorn, finished the hood in epoxy primer, put the TH350 into the stepside and am about to finish my budget sb400. I have less in it than you have in those valve covers...ROFLMAO! Great to have you back!

Re: Been Away for awhile...

Breeh, thanks for the compliment! Getting the motor situated was a pain and I still plan to make some changes to get rid of some of the body lift. Truck is too dang tall right now!

Hi Mike! Nice thing about a 400 is you don't have to do much for a bunch of torque. You will like it.

I was always building the car more towards a road race type of vehicle. Not to say that it won't go to the dragstrip from time to time. The motor is spec'd to take a 200-300 shot of giggle gas should the need arise

I will try to meet up with you at the 33rd Annual Corvette & High Performance Swap Meet.
