Source for rubber bed mat?

I have searched the board and the web looking for a quality rubber bed mat for my 71 SWB fleetside without success. Anybody have an online source (seller or manufacturer) for a quality bed mat? I am looking for one that covers the complete bed floor and wraps around the wheel wells. I have only found them for later model Chevys. I expect to have to trim the length from a longbed mat but don't want to trim around the wheel wells if possible.

If you got a rubber mat in the back of your 67-72, would you mind sharing the brand name?

Appreciate any help possible.

Mark

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

I could not find one for 67-72 so I bought a 73. It fits the bed good with no trimming except there is a space at the front of the wheel, because the fender well is about 3-4 inches longer on the newer ones. Outside of that it fits very good. I dont know what brand. Picked up at a parts house.

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

Good luck - I have seached and even looked thru NOS stacks to try and find one with no luck. I can not even find one that I can trim down. The width is quite wide between the insides if the bed walls

I have one that fits my 69. Good chance Im trashing it this weekend when we get it to my home. If I dont use it, I might be able to sell it to ya.

Its for the long bed fleetside, if I cant sell it, Ill be sure to note the brand name.

South texas, just north west of houston. It'd have to be packaged, Unless you feel like driving 400 miles. If I do decide to sell it, and he doesnt buy, your next in line.

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

Doesn't LMC have these in their catalog? I thought I'd seen them before thinking it was a blazer rubber bed mat.

If you decide to sell and bankone passes, consider me next in line. I'm over in Kingwood so I could pick it up. Just shoot me a pm.

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

JC Whitney also has a universal that is wide enough and you have to cut the wheel wells yourself......

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

Go buy that rubber mat that people use in their garages. They come in like 12x12 squares and are pieced together. My Uncle has that stuff in his garage and it has a Diamond Plate look to it. It might look pretty cool as a bed mat?

In my truck, I have 5/8" MDF wood sheets with Carpet stapled to it. It works pretty well.

Re: Source for rubber bed mat?

I made one for my nissan a while ago out of a cattle mat? i got it at a farm and ranch supply place and they come in two different sizes and thickness. i got one that was 4X6 and 3/4" thick for $40 i think. the other one was 5X7 and 1/2" thick if i remember right. that one was $60. again if memory serves me correctly. i will tell you that NOTHING moves once it's in. at the time they wanted $100 for a custom fit one that was very thin from the auto supply places.
