Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
Is this what u are talking about? I bought this several yrs ago for my 55 Nomad, Ended up going with a 605 Gearbox.................
This came off a early 60's Impala that i found in the Junkyard. Thanks, Rick ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. Also concerning your other post about the Clutch pivot, When i was at Yard last week getting the Dually Rims for my 72 Wrecker. I saw a 67 C40 that had a 6 & it had a bracket mounted to side of motor with the Ball pressed on it, Would u like me to get a pic of it next time Im at Yard? |

Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
Steve,
I want to eventually have a bone-stock, restored 67 K-2500 with all the bells and whistles too. There was a 67 or 68 4x4 Suburban on E-bay about a year ago or so that had the original PS setup, it went for more than I wanted to pay just to get an original setup though. I've been watching for them for about two years now and that's the only one I've ever seen. The setup looks like it uses some of the same parts as the 2WD power steering but most of the mounting hardware is different. I just have to keep looking, I'll have one someday! Bob
