Question for Swervin

Hey Mike, how much money do you have invested in that new console you built?

Not much money, but time out the arse.

So far all I've bought are 2 pieces of plywood for speaker box and console both. 1 piece of plywood will be plenty for the console. Besides plywood, all you need is misc screws, nails.

Jeff,

no I don't have it upholstered yet. Planning on going tomorrow to talk to the guy. Just today finished with the vents for the amps and heat routing. I figured out what to do with the heat duct. It has three outlets, one on each side and the one in the middle. All I did was remove the duct from the heater. It has baffles in it to route the air to all three places. I removed some of the duct and blocked the middle one off. This lets all the air out the two sides. Then I put a small round vent in the drivers side of the console so air could come out. Once the duct is put back on, it works great.
