Hello from SouthWest Missouri!
Glad to be here, this is an awesome board!!!! I am hooked already. My title says hello from Missouri but I live in Miami, Florida and may soon be relocating to Arkansas. I am visiting family for the holidays in my homestate of Missouri. I have been away from my projects for about 5 years and actually drove the '71 Cheyenne in the pic yesterday for the first time in 3 years. I originally restored it in 1996 and man things have changed... I am itching to tear it all apart and bag it w/6.0, 4L80, etc... I can't wait to get back to the MidWest so I can start the madness again... I also have a '71suburban that is nicknamed the "duck truck" and isn't even welcome behind my parent's barn, but I can see the potential especially with all the good build threads here. I wish I could make the annual meet in Norwood, MO but we are heading up to Goodguy's Des Moines that weekend. Maybe next year!

Re: Hello from SouthWest Missouri!
Welcome from P-Cola, FL!!!! You got lucky on the nickname for your Burb, my kids nicknamed ours the Booger! We actually had a moment of silence Sunday morning after I stripped all the green paint off, LOL. I'm not sure what they'll come up with when I get the new paint on. Anyway, if you have anymore Suburban questions or need some parts let me know.

Re: Hello from SouthWest Missouri!
Welcome from Vienna, Austria. I know what you mean about being seperated from your trucks. I just moved here in July 2006 from Virginia and left my 3 trucks there. I will be here for 3 years and I miss them already. Good luck with the move and the redo's on the trucks.
