Body accent colour narrower at rear of box.

Hi,

I am wondering about how to handle the sloping chrome top strip on my '72 K20 longbox. This is the strip that is lower from the box rim at the back of the box than at the front.

At first, I thought that someone attatched the chrome strip incorrectly on my truck at some time in its past, but now I see that pretty much all of the full size boxes have this descending chrome strip on the box for '71-'72.

Do you folks just get used to it, or do you pull it off and attach it straight?

Thanks.

it follows the body lines, there is no way really, to make it straight.
SWB has it too, it just isn't as obviouse.
