anybody seen these...Eagle series 211...look like a torque thrust II but much cheaper...tried to post pic but wasnt the right configuration...isn't American Eagle owned by American Racing? ...looks like the same wheel with different center cap

american eagle is not part of american racing, and thank god for that. american racing prices are ridiculas for their offerings. i have owned 3 sets of american eagles and have been pleased with all. amer. eagle also make boss wheels. their torq thrust II knock-off's are good looking wheels

They appear to be chrome but the site says polished so I'm wondering if they are in fact billet aluminum or not.

Will have to make a call to one of the dealers.

I put those on my '72 stepside. They are great wheels! The only drawback is that I had to wait like 4 months to get them due to the factory re-tooling to match the GM hub. Other than that, people would swear they are torque thrust II's until I tell them they're not.

My dad used to be an assistant manager at a tire shop in my hometown, and the american rep. sold eagle wheels as well. The warehouse in Oklahoma City houses both eagle and american wheels. Might wanna do more checkin into this.

the prices i seen were any where from $130 to $ 160 for 15x7's and 8's and from $ 150 to $ 170 for 15x10...not sure on the 6 or 8 lug...when i went to the eagle web site it was a split page one button for american racing and one for american eagle..dont know the exact site cause i just searched "american eagle wheels"......Riles..you got a pic of ur truck with those wheels on it??? would love to see it.....thanks for the pic zumo

my dad has 17 inch American Eagle / Eagle Alloy wheels on his 94 GMC.....the only way you can look at them and tell the difference is the center cap. Very nice wheels and much more affordable.

Well, honestly, I can't remember how much we payed. I do remember is was cheap. somwhere in the 450 range for all 4. I got my wheels and tires at the same time, and all together with the wheels, tires, and labor fees was right at 900 bones. It helped that my dad still had connections at the shop where we bought 'em. (same shop he used to work at)

As for a pic with them on it, no, not right now. My truck is currently in the shop getting the paint sprayed on! (finally after 4 years of blood sweat and tears) I have pictures of the complete ground up restoration/rodstoration, but they're in the glove box in the truck at the body shop. I like to put them out at car shows. As soon as I get it back, You can bet your bottom dollar I'll post some pics on the board for everyone to drool over!

I can honestly say, if you like the look of the torque thrust II's, you can't go wrong with the eagle series 211's.
