Lowering options for a 55 and up chevy

Ok so more newbie quections.

What would be some options for lowering a 55-59 chevy. I was originally set on a 47-54 chevy and I was going to do the s10 frame swap. But now a 55 chevy has come up as an option.

I know the basics,
MII swap
Lower axles

Anything else that would be affordable, I'm looking for a setup that would allow me to do airbags, and is reasonaly priced.

Thanks again

Welcome to the site
lots of answers to questions on this site...

I have been watching Ebay and just picked up a 4-link with air bags for $550
list is $799. Other parts like compressors, tanks, switches can also be found. Front end parts can also be done by buying just the cross member and parting out a mustang II frontend and doing the air bag/shock wave route.

to bag the front, you can go with a nova/camaro/monte clip from the late 70's/early 80's, but it requires cutting that i personally would be uncomfortable doing

MII would probably be your best route up front.
