Antenna wire routing?
I'm trying to install a new antenna, but can't figure out how to get the wire to the stereo. It had none when I bought it, but the hole is there. It just opens up to the cowl area where the heater air draws from.
It's an 69 bare bones Air Force truck, but I assume it came with an antenna originally.

Re: Antenna wire routing?
There should be a hole just underneath the cowl. You'll need to take that off and you'll see it on the passenger side.

Re: Antenna wire routing?
The stock hole for the antenna lead is shown in this pic. It is the hole below the windshield opening by the front cab pillar. It is hidden by the cowl when installed.

Re: Antenna wire routing?
Thanks for the pic...
I pulled the glovebox, and see a flat spot in that location that is not drilled. The rpo list has a "radio delete" option, so that explains that. I found some type of hidden antenna glued to the back of the cardboard glovebox. So I gues I can put the real antenna in there or just fill the hole in the cowl.
