Looks better already. Did they have a braided line for the PVC hose? That would look good.

That is the PCV hose on the engine that he has pictured, ISN'T IT? Rather than using a straight PCV valve, he appears to be using a breather cap. I don't know if he has a PCV valve inside it, I kind of doubt it. My thought would be that he needs to throttle down on his vacuum line to the carb a little by installing a PCV valve, not using a straight cap.

The motor that I have above has caps on the valve covers, but they are billet and there is a PCV valve inside the one cap connected to the carb base. It works better, in my mind, to have the valve in there.
