Rear Air Conditioning hose needed

HI All!

I am looking for the Rear Air Conditioning hose that goes from front to back, the Burb I am getting has a leak in the hose, the owner says. Any Ideas? I looked in LMC and nothing listed

Re: Rear Air Conditioning hose needed

I had the front to rear hoses made up at a truck refrigeration company in Grand Rapids, MI. I took my old hoses in and they used matching thread connectors with the the hydraulically clamped ends to make up new hoses. (To get away from the original hose clamps which tend to leak with R-134A). I would suggest replacing both hoses while you are at it.

If you want information on the company that I used, let me know and I will post the contact information.

Re: Rear Air Conditioning hose needed

The name of the company that made the hoses for me is:

Thermo King
955 76th Street. S.W.
Byron Center, MI 49315 (just south of Grand Rapids, MI)

Tel. No. 1 800 968-9378 Ext.625

They have done several jobs for me and the work has been excellent.

I am still in the process of hooking up the hoses as this was part of a frame off restoration. So far it has been quite a bit of work as you need help to feed the hoses from rear to front.

The assembly manual has some excellent pictures of the routing in it.
