Auto Shippers

Was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the auto shipping companies and could make a recommendation? Any good, inexpensive companies out there that you are aware of? Thanks.

I just sold a truck on '70 on ebay and the company hauled it to phoenix from Denver for only $575. They were a couple of idiots but it got there faster than they said it would and everything worked out great. The company was called "magic carpet" I think, I didnt pay for it so I'm not sure.

I have a reciept for the company that says "victory auto sales" though, maybe they sub work? 303 857-4285

good luck

DAS. Dependable Auto Shippers, had them haul a truck from Nebraska to Virginia that I bought off ebay. Good people to deal with.

I also used DAS. They use contractors, but I was 100% happy with the service and the flexibility for drop-off.

Re: Auto Shippers

I used DAS for a camaro out of California . Satisfied but it was pricey . I shipped an Impala to California and it arrived unharmed but I cant remember the company . I had the black 78 I used to own shipped from Iowa in late 2005 for $700 and was happy with their service . I think that was Majic Carpet . I think DAS uses their own trucks but most others sub the work out . I submitted a shipping req on the internet by searching auto shippers and found a link to get 10 quotes with one submission . I didnt use the cheapest but instead went with the one that was about $100 more . I dont really know if there is a difference in most but DAS seems to be a little more of a solid company . I didnt use their express service that was gauranteed in 7 days because it was even more money . I went with their open trailer service and the car was here in 5 days . Just lucky timing on me setting up the arrangements . Frank
