Im trying to save $400.00 by not going mail order for suicide door hinges
so if anyone has some info on how to do this,please hook me up

I don't know of anyone that's fab up some suicide doors without using the suicide hinges offered by Suicide Doors. A guy from another forum used those hinges to do his conversion. He had quite an in-depth (and radical) project thread. It may be possible to use the original hinges (and locking/striking mechanism) and heavily modify the door and door jams to accept them. Would be a cool mod though, using the original parts.
