Frame chopping?

I am going to cut a 72 long bed 4x4 frame to short bed specs. Anyone have any details as far as how to go about it? I am a capable welder and have a good mig and plasma cutter to work with. Would also like to know the exact amount on how much I need to shorten the frame between the front and rear axles. Also what about the rear of the frame? Thanks for any info you share.

PM efabman, He did this to a 2wd and did really nice work. The "z" in the frame was right as rain. Good luck.
