Attn: 87 Stepper

Was just browsing your site and drooling. I noticed your bucket seats and was impressed at how good they looked and fit. How did you manage the installation of Ford Escort seats? Was it hard fabricating the brackets? What yeare was the Escort?

Thanks,

BigRed,

The seats are form a 1987 escort GT and the seat tracks are form the ford EXP not shure what year but around the mid 80's, The tracks form that car are low profile and bolt right up to the seat, I then picked up the fwd. otbd. hole and drilled the others. And the fwd. indb position for both sides need a spacer about 1.5 to 2" high to compensate for the floor drop i used a solid block of aluminum 1"w 2"L 1.5/2" H for that. I also took the floor molding from the escort to cover the seat tracks and trimed them as necessary to fit and look right.

Thanks Stepper! It really does look good.

Ryan, what seats are you putting in yours? I can't wait until I can get my setup. I'm doing something similiar, just not sure what yet. All in good time though.
