Do I need an adjustable panhard bar
My truck was lowered 3/5 by the P.O. I was wondering if I needed an adjustable panhard bar? I am in the process of bagging the truck and replacing the trailing arm bushings. Will not changing the original panhard bar mis-align my rear end?

Re: Do I need an adjustable panhard bar
I talked with a guy at early classics about this. He said to check the level of your panhard - and if it's already running uphill on the differential end - then every time your suspension compresses, it'll pull the rear to the driver side.
Mines running uphill now so I'm going to just move the mount on the rear end down a few inches until it levels out at my current ride height.

Re: Do I need an adjustable panhard bar
I would bet your rear end is out of alignment now. Measure between the tires and frame, and from the front wheel to rear wheel. This will put you in the ballpark. After finishing your work get a 4 wheel alignment at an independent shop. They usually do better with custom jobs..

Re: Do I need an adjustable panhard bar
When I bagged my truck, I got the CPP Deluxe Track bar that runs from the passenger trailing arm to the stock frame mount. The longer the better.

Re: Do I need an adjustable panhard bar
They say when you go over 4 inches in the rear you need the adjustable panhard bar
