Very nice truck Jeff. Looks very clean. I agree, it looks like a good shot at a TOTM ride....... Later, .......Jerry

Yes. What is the current drop? It is low enough in the front that it could stand another 2 inches in the rear and still be slightly nose down.

Re: Here some better pics of my '68 shortbed
That is a really nice truck. I like the wheels that are on it and some 3 1/2" slant cut chrome tips out back would be sharp.

Re: Here some better pics of my '68 shortbed
I was told back when I bought the truck that it was lowered 4" all around. After being under it now a bunch of times, the springs are definitely after-market, but I can't tell exactly what kind. It has the original discs all around, so I'm not sure if it has drop spindles or not. I haven't gotten that far yet.

Re: Here some better pics of my '68 shortbed
That is definitely a beautiful truck. A TOTM nominee in my book- If you were to do anything with the wheels, I'd say maybe up the rears to 10" wide. Leave the fronts like they are. But I agree with everyone; you don't have to drink 1% milk cause you think you're fat- You could be drinking whole if you want to..

Sorry... typo! I meant original Drums.
Again, thanks for the kind words. Ya'll have convinced me to stick with the truck rallys, but I'm still going wider in the rear.

Nice work. Hope you enjoy it. I'm currently looking for a shortbox myself. Hope I can get it to look as good as yours.

Re: Here some better pics of my '68 shortbed
Good Luck on finding a Short Box n Saskatchewan. Do you want stepside or fleetside? The only one I know of around here is board member Blue85's from Raymore ( I think that is his handle) Black Short Box..
