Weatherstrip
Hey guys, I know you have talked about how S10 weatherstrip works well for our trucks. Is the snap in part worth it? Are they all snap in? I have a link to an eba auction, will this work?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WEATH...spagenameZWD1V
Manes has a pair for $25, would it be just as good to buy those and not have to pay the stupid ebay shipping and just glue it in? Thanks, Justin

Re: Weatherstrip
I believe that's for the inside of the door that the windows rides on. That's not the door weather stripping you want.....

You can also use the Caddy weather stripping with the felt on the inside if you buy tree pieces. Last edited by kyull67; 01-23-2007 at 08:02 PM. |

Re: Weatherstrip
I have a set of boneyard S dime seals on my 69. they are flipped side for side , & clip right on the old truck. the doors did shut very tight, but a little hammer work on the pinchweld helped that out. My old truck is wearin a 4" chop top, & the stock s 10 seals needed 4 or 5 inches chopped out of the bottom center......my bet is that they are a tad too short for a stock height cab tho..... L

Re: Weatherstrip
What also works well are the door seals off the 89-90 style full size truck. EXT56 did this on his smurf truck and I could not belive how well it worked. I will be hitting the pick-n-pull for a set for project "LFD's Low buck truck build" they will fit right in for this build.
