No More Daily Driver!!!!!!!

I recently bought a 1998 S-10, that way i dont' have to take the 72 out every day. Especially when they are recovering our roads with tar and rocks...They arent considerate to Great Classics at all. I was behind a van (being carefull not to run too close to it) but a rock came up and bounced off the outergrille and onto the front of the hood. Any way, she will only be driven on the weekends or whenever i want to show it off...

BACK IN 1990 (WHEN I HAD A TOOL SHOP) I BOUGHT A 90 S-10 FOR MY DRIVER TO MAKE DELIVERYS WITH. I DROVE IT A COUPLE OF MONTHS & SOLD IT. IT WAS LIKE DRIVING A CHEVETTE PICKUP. I WENT BACK TO DRIVING MY 70 CST SHORTY. IT WAS FUN, & I DIDN'T MIND DRIVING IT.

To keep the controversy alive, I like the silver grille better. But I'm more interested in the red bowtie grill emblem. Where did you find that, or how did you do it? I've thought about painting mine red, but it would mean losing the depth that the original has with the blue being under the clear plastic (hope that makes sense). And by the way, the truck looks great! Don't blame you for getting another rig for daily use, I do the same. Have an '88 S-15 Jimmy for daily use, hunting, fishing, and pulling my 4-wheeler and trailer. And the caddy is in the garage for those special occasions (chasing girls as Randy puts it, he-hee).
