axle width on a 71
Hello all, I know this probly has been covered in here before but i cant seem to find it.
ok well my question is, what is the axle width from housing end to housing end on a 71? I have a 9 inch im going to be narrowing and 4 linking but I dont know what a stock axle width is to base my 9 inch narrowing off of. Thanks everyone for the help

57 1/2 inches. I'm not sure if that is flange to flange, or backing plate to backing plate though.
