Gas Filler Options???
Can you do the side marker gas filler like they do on the trucks to a blazer? Anyone got any pics of what they did?

Re: Gas Filler Options???
There are several guys on the board with custom fillers using later model gas doors. I think 2wdBlazer has one on his rig.
It's a slick modification. I think it looks great on a slammed & modified 2wd.

Re: Gas Filler Options???
I cut the gas filler door area out of a ford ranger bedside, should install without issue.
I've heard of guys using Lumina parts too. |

Re: Gas Filler Options???
Wes has pics and instructions on his site for the blazers side markers lights at:
http://www.classicheartbeat.com/mark...t_gas_door.htm I am going to give it a shot on my blazer as my new tanks filler tube has to be modified anyway. Last edited by PunkyGoose; 01-06-2007 at 01:18 PM. |

Re: Gas Filler Options???
I just wanna clean up the quarter panel and get the stocker off there. I wouldn't mind putting it in the floor if I could find a nice lid of some sort. I see lids in the beds of trucks all the time, I would just have to be careful when pumpin gas and not get it in the carpet.

Re: Gas Filler Options???
Marker light looks the easiest, tail light also, but floor is very easy too,
Floor becomes a issue if the top is on, or even your tonneu idea also

Re: Gas Filler Options???
No, Mine is just filled and routed into the bed. I have a carpeted cover over the bed section behind the seat so you have to open the tailgate to fill her up.
