Difference in window regulators?

Anybody know what the difference is in a 72 window regulator from a 69-71? They are listed seperately in LMC's catalog . And same year model split on the listing for the rubber pieces between door handle/window crank and door panel. My Blazer is a 72 but there are several 69 pieces on it. I'm wondering, so I want order the wrong parts!

The crank is longer because of the different door panel.

Re: Difference in window regulators?

The '72 window regulators and door handle cranks have longer shafts on them. This is so they will be long enough to stick through the "72 only" style door panels. Which door panels are you running?

Re: Difference in window regulators?

I have the flat metal door panels. So does that mean I need the 69-71 regulator? Is the 72 for the molded plastic panels?

Re: Difference in window regulators?

Just curious, but why order them from LMC? Board vendors usually meet or beat their prices
