ash trays
how many diffrent ash trays did they make fro 67-72 chevy trucks. the rason is some idiot drilled hole in the front of mine and put handles on it so i tied diffrent ash trays and i can't find one like mine can any one help

I have seen two kinds.
It has to do with the slides on the sides of the receiver and the tray. One has Nylon guides and the other has ball berrings. I think you can replace the whole unit Receiver and tray) if you find one that is different from the one you have. Hope this helps

the front is also diffrent mine is flat and the others are rounded and shorter than mine send pics of the ash tray i will tell you if i can use them

Sounds like your ashtray is a 67 piece...all of those that I've seen, have been flat, as opposed to the later rounded ones, that stick out a little.
