Checkout my new valve covers.

How do ya like these vintage Edelbrock covers ? There both in mint condition , woo hoo , these are going on the 68 . I suppose my roller rockers won't clear though , oh well , roller tip rockers are nearly as good right . . Now if i could find a set like these for the 409 , if they made 'em , that would be cool.

Re: Checkout my new valve covers.

409Biscayne.. Gotta luv those!.. I have never seen a set of Edlebrocks without the shinny flat surface like the ones on cornfed63's..
Your Edlebrocks look very similiar to my 1965 Vintage M/T's on my Big block.. these were cast for a very short time before the M/T logo went on..

Re: Checkout my new valve covers.

Those are cool. I had some of the M/T with the logo. Not as nice. Several companies make valve cover spacers for the small block. I wonder if they make them for BB too. Lots of standard height small block valve covers clear roller rockers with just double gaskets. You might check that out on those Edelbrocks. They look taller than the stamped steel.

Re: Checkout my new valve covers.

This board just amazes me , i thought i had something really rare , lol. Those are some nice covers y'all have as well . Hey oldtimers do you think Edelbrock or anyone else for that matter made any for 409 ? I know Mooneyes makes them currently , but that's too easy .

Re: Checkout my new valve covers.

Offenhauser makes them. Check in the Speedway Motors catalog.
