Painting My swb K10

No,not yet,but close.I want to get the cab atleast painted before the motor goes in.I might end up doing the inside of the fenders, the bottom of the hood, and the back of the bed painted too.Do you think I should paint the cab off the frame? I am wanting to keep overspray off my newly painted frame so I think I will.....Stay tuned for the start of the painting....in a few short weeks....after alot of body work

The majority of my truck was painted off the frame. Just makes reassembly nerve wrecking worrying about scratching the paint.

Paint off the frame. That is the way I prefer to do it. Just get a bunch of guys to help put the cab on or use the cherry picker method and you should be fine. I actually usually paint the lower half first then I paint the top while mounted on the truck. Its up to you. Just easier on me since I am short.
