Thumbs up Suburban Quarters

Well I have located and purchased a pretty nice pair of rear suburban quarters. They are cut at about the half way point of the rear wheel well and about the center point of where the top trim would go. These include the taillight areas and are rust free. I will be sending them to the manufacturer and they have told me that we should have new patch panels, hopefully by April or May of 2003. I was saving these for my panel just in case I needed them, but have since found out that I don't. I just thought I would let my fellow Suburban owners know about it so you can look forward to these long awaited parts..... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I think I might know where there is a burb in S. E. Missouri with the rear air setup. Is that to far for you? I can do some checking. Thanks Randy

No teeitup, It's not too far as long as it is in good condition and reasonably priced... LOL I want to make sure though that I get the long A/C hoses that lead to it and the rotating switch that activates it with the little bezel that says Rear Air on the dash bezel. Let me know..... Although, we have our Suburban quarters repaired, (we used truck parts), it is great to see the quarters in the works for reproduction.

Thanks WES!

I do not know how mutch they will be. It will depend on what size patch panel you are looking to buy. We are planning to make the whole quarter, then smaller patches that are area specific. Kind of like the patch panels that are already being offered for trucks. One of the things that I have to do with these quarters is to mark off what panels that I think will sell the best. I want to be able to sell panels that can be shipped by UPS/Fedex and not all truck freight. We will be offering the entire panel also but you can bet it will be a truck freight item.
