from 250 to 292

Okay, we are changing out from where there was a 250 to a 292. I know one mount needs to be moved forward but can both 250 6cyl stands be used? Or is one a V8 stand and another a I-6 on the 292?
I Know there was a web page of this somewhere if someone wants to post it again.

Re: from 250 to 292

I traded out a 250 to 292 on a 66 1/2 ton a few years back . As I remember the engine mount on the drivers side was different so used the one from the donor truck. Everything else fell into place. Hope this helps...............l79m20
