trade sml block for 6cyl

I have a couple of small blocks that are complete and running that I would like to trade one of them for a running 6cyl. Let me know what you have.

I have a 216 CI with 4spd manual out of a 47 chevy that I will trade you in Southern KY. It was running when pulled last summer.

Re: trade sml block for 6cyl

Now that's a swap not too common. I'm going to keep a 6 in one of my old trucks too. They are neat and run like a timex. I might go for a 250 to have a little mileage instead of 292.

Re: trade sml block for 6cyl

Yea I have always had sml blocks in all my old trucks and even gotten rid of some nice 6cyls. I have a 67 GMC SWB that I just want a nice driver and 6cyl auto.

Re: trade sml block for 6cyl

I have a 292 that was running good when pulled, it has been setting for about 4 years and i pulled the head to freshen it up last year for another project and that project never happened.
It would need the head put back on and it is complete except the air cleaner. I even have a rebuilt carb for it. I can get pics if your interested.

Re: trade sml block for 6cyl

The 250 that I told you about should be out in the next week or two and I would be able to deliver it when I picked up the V8.
